This 8-module course is the sequel to the CSRT Introductory Course (offered live in 2023 and 2021 and on-demand).

This course offers the highly popular live demos and moment-to-moment micro-analysis of clinical sessions, along with in-depth presentations that will expand your learning.

COURSE PRE-REQUISITE: Only open to graduates of the Fierce Love/CSRT 2021 Ten-Month Course, the 2023 CSRT Ten-Module Intro Course and the 10-Module On-Demand Course.

REFUND POLICY: Once the course is purchased and you have signed the course confidentiality contract and received links and passwords to access the recordings and the handouts, the course is non-refundable.

Goal:                         
Participants will be able to demonstrate that they are able to make use of key concepts and methods in Core Self Reclamation Therapy, a new model of psychotherapy that targets the deepest intrapsychic wounds.

Learning Objectives:
Module 1: Finding the Therapeutic Target & Preparing the Client for Parts Work
Participants will be able to:

• Summarize the importance of the Tripartite Self in CSRT, distinguishing between the Core Self, the Wounded Self and the Present-Day Self.

• Explain the significance of the Core Self and its integral role in CSRT

Module II: How to Identify & Work with Internal Laws
Participants will be able to:

• Describe how to identify the presence of Child Parts holding Internal Laws in patients.

• Demonstrate how to Update the Nervous System of wounded Child Parts holding Internal Laws.

Module III: How to Identify & Work with Core Erroneous Beliefs
Participants will be able to:

• Distinguish between Internal Laws and Core Erroneous Beliefs.

• Summarize what is meant by the Universal Healing Truths and the Corrective Truths and explain the difference.

Module IV: The Present-Day Self as Internal Caregiver: Bi-Directional Focus
Participants will be able to:

• Explain why it is important to establish and bolster the Present-Day Self as Internal Caregiver before and during Parts Work.

• Illustrate how to Shore up the Present-Day Self so that it can do the intrapsychic healing work.

Module V: The Nature of Parts & the Parts Work Process
Participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate the Survival Updating Intervention used when either a patient is presently reliving a traumatic scene or exhibiting signs that they are stuck in the past.

• Describe how the therapist somatically installs and encodes the Corrective Emotional Experiences into the nervous system of the Child Part. 

Module VI: Working with Entrenched Defenses via Fierce Love
Participants will be able to:

• Summarize the 9 primary healing targets in CSRT.

• Elaborate on the main techniques used in piercing and melting the defenses in CSRT.

Module VII: Common Obstacles to Healing
Participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate how to redirect back to target when a patient leaves the healing pathway.

• Demonstrate how to respond to Common Obstacles to Healing such as: The Parent Defense Obstacle, the Identifying with the Child Part Obstacle, and the Uncoupling is Cruelty or Abandonment Obstacle
