SueAnne Piliero is the creator of Core Self Reclamation Therapy (CSRT). She has spent over a decade developing the model --- formerly called Fierce Love --- and now teaches it to clinical audiences across the country and around the world.
SueAnne is a founding member of the AEDP Institute (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), where she is Senior Faculty Emerita. She has been an invited speaker at the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium and the Cape Cod Institute, and her clinical work was featured by the American Psychological Association as part of their video series showcasing renowned psychotherapists doing live demonstrations with real patients.
She received her doctorate from Adelphi University and her master's degree in human development and psychology from Harvard. She is known for her warm, open, engaging teaching style and her ability to communicate complex topics with humor and clarity.
SueAnne teaches, supervises, provides individual and group consultation, and maintains a private practice in Brooksville, Maine. She is currently writing a book on CSRT with Co-Director Raoul Rosenberg, LMHC.
She is the author of "Fierce Love: Championing the Core Self to Transform Trauma and Pathogenic States," published in D. Fosha (Ed.), Undoing Aloneness & the Transformation of Suffering into Flourishing: AEDP 2.0 (American Psychological Association, 2021).
